Job Summary: Tragsa is seeking an Engineer to support rural development and nature conservation efforts on natural trails in Madrid. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination and monitoring of implementation of actions **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsa **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., the parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in work related to rural development and nature conservation, seeks to hire 1 Engineer to provide support for natural trails in the Community of Madrid **Work Location** -------------------- * Community of Madrid **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Review and diagnosis of the condition of trails under Spain's Natural Trails Program * Drafting of evaluated reports for implementing actions and reports within the scope of Spain's Natural Trails Program regarding trail conditions and progress of scheduled works, for submission to public administration or other bodies * Supporting coordination of fieldwork and monitoring implementation of actions * Transferring execution orders for priority works and necessary improvement studies from the Service Director (DS) * Supervising data collection for inventory of trail elements requiring maintenance and inspections of their condition * Standardizing and transferring maintenance work programming in accordance with identified needs * Identifying information required to justify implementation of scheduled works, including employed resources and executed measurements, as well as achieved quality levels * Collecting, reviewing, archiving, and processing justificatory information for identified works * Conducting occasional site visits to action zones to perform on-site monitoring, incident analysis, and proposals for improvements and/or alternatives to resolve them * Attending meetings supporting coordination and monitoring * Proposing actions to enhance the identity of the Natural Trails Program * Preparing technical and administrative documentation related to the scope of action **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by completing assessment tests and/or attaching required documentation in the "Annexes" section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any time during the process the documents verifying the data provided in the application, as well as to require additional information from the CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for this vacancy. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a Technical Engineering Degree in Public Works / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering \+ Official Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports) or Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports); OR Technical Forestry Engineering Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering and Natural Environment \+ Official Master’s Degree in Forestry Engineering or Forestry Engineering; OR Technical Agricultural Engineering Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering qualifying for the profession of Technical Agricultural Engineer \+ Official Master’s Degree in Agronomic Engineering or Agronomy or Agronomic Engineering (MECES 3\) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Spanish Class B driving license * Availability to travel up to 25% of working time **Merits (Assessable)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * From 3 months to 4 years of experience preparing reports related to construction project monitoring (professional and/or academic experience) * From 3 months to 4 years of experience using GIS tools (professional and/or academic experience) ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Presto (to be verified during technical assessment) * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel (to be verified during technical assessment) **Observations** ----------------- * Offered: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable up to a maximum total duration of 12 months, if applicable. + Full-time position The application period will remain open from today, 07/05/2026, until 18/05/2026 at 23:59 (Peninsular Time).
