Collaborate on designing resilient and scalable architectures LOCATION: MAJADAHONDA – Ctra. de Pozuelo, 50\-1 – Bldg. 4 JOB MISSION At MAPFRE, we are looking for an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) focused on ensuring system performance, scalability, and availability. The role will be responsible for managing and configuring the infrastructure of one of MAPFRE’s main Platforms. This is a profile that must combine development and operations skills to automate processes and manage infrastructure. Leadership and team management capabilities, strategic vision of technological architecture, adaptability, continuous learning, and interpersonal skills—such as communication and talent development—will be highly valued. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY FUNCTIONS) * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions. * Monitor system performance and availability. * Collaborate with various Architecture teams. * Define and implement infrastructure for MAPFRE’s Platforms. * Create various dashboards for Platform management. * Document processes for onboarding and support of Development and Architecture teams. * Ensure compliance with Security policies and internal regulations. * Incident resolution and incident management. * Collaborate with Architecture teams to design resilient and scalable architectures. * Engage with stakeholders to manage business priorities. * Capacity and resource planning. * Version control and artifact management across pipelines. * Actively collaborate with different MAPFRE teams. * Contribute to defining SLIs and SLOs. * Automate infrastructure-as-code (IaC) processes using tools such as Terraform. EDUCATION AND REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE * Experience with automation tools such as Terraform. * Experience with GitHub Actions. * Experience with AWS: API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53, IAM, etc. * Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, or similar. * Knowledge of monitoring systems such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc. * Experience with containers such as Docker. * Experience with orchestrators such as Kubernetes. * Experience with GitHub and workflow development. * Experience implementing FinOps in AWS environments. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION Minimum 5 years of technical experience in similar SRE roles, working on migrations and production environments with DRS on AWS.
