Seeing our students succeed is what motivates us every day. ### **About the Role** We are looking for a **full\-time Lead Instructor for our Data Science \& Machine Learning Bootcamp** at our **Remote Campus**. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data science, machine learning, and education, who is excited to take ownership of the academic experience and guide students through an intensive, immersive bootcamp. The bootcamp will start on **February 16th**, with an **onboarding period prior to the program start** to ensure full alignment with Ironhack’s methodology, tools, and curriculum. #### **Schedule \& Modality** * **Onboarding:** 2 weeks prior to the bootcamp start * **Bootcamp dates:** **February 16th – April 18th** * **Full\-time position** * **Remote Campus** * **Monday to Friday 09:00 – 18:00 (CET)** ### **Responsibilities** #### **The Ironhack Experience** * Oversee the full academic experience of the Data Science \& Machine Learning Bootcamp. * Teach live sessions at our Remote Campus following a full\-time schedule. * Lead and support students throughout the program, ensuring engagement, progress, and achievement of learning outcomes. * Manage and collaborate with Teaching Assistants to ensure student success. * Foster a safe, inclusive, and energetic learning environment that supports different learning styles. * Challenge students to think critically and strategically while working on real\-world data problems. * Inspire and mentor students to continue developing their skills beyond the bootcamp. * Collaborate closely with Program Managers and Outcomes Managers to support students’ career goals. * Design, administer, and evaluate assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback. #### **Teaching \& Curriculum** * Teach core topics including: + Python programming + Data handling and SQL + Machine learning algorithms + Deep learning principles + Specialized topics such as NLP and computer vision * Lead hands\-on projects and practical activities to ensure job\-ready skills. * Ensure students meet program outcomes, including model deployment, neural network creation, and exposure to MLOps practices. #### **Collaboration with Global Teams** * Collaborate with Curriculum Engineers to continuously improve course content. * Work with global teams on the rollout of new teaching materials. * Adapt and enrich Ironhack’s global curriculum, creating lesson plans as needed and sharing insights and improvements. * Contribute to the creation of engaging educational content such as lessons, exercises, and mini\-projects. #### **Community Building** * Actively contribute to the student experience by participating in events and community initiatives. * Build a strong learning community that continues beyond the bootcamp duration. ### **Requirements** * 3–5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, ideally in a leadership or mentoring role. * Full professional fluency in English (all classes and internal communication are conducted in English). * Strong passion for data technologies and teaching. * Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). * Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). * Proven ability to create and adapt teaching materials and methodologies. * Ability to tailor lesson plans based on student progress and learning challenges. * Strong classroom management and facilitation skills, including group and pair work. * Experience managing or mentoring teams and keeping them motivated. * Proactive problem\-solver with strong organizational skills. * Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and inspire learners. * Reliable, open to feedback, and highly collaborative. * Enjoys mentoring and contributing to the tech education community. ### **What You’ll Gain** * The opportunity to lead and shape a full Data Science \& Machine Learning bootcamp. * A platform to grow as an educator and technical leader. * The chance to make a tangible impact on students’ careers. * Collaboration with a global, experienced education team. * Development of leadership, coaching, and curriculum design skills. * A fully remote, dynamic, and collaborative work environment.
