At **Logicalis Spain**, we are seeking to hire a **Senior Wintel \& Virtualization Systems Engineer** to work in a high-availability healthcare environment, administering and maintaining critical Wintel server infrastructure and virtualization platforms. The candidate will join our permanent staff and work for the Hospital de Sant Pau, in a hybrid mode from Barcelona. **What responsibilities will you have?** * Administration of VMware vSphere v8 in an environment of approximately 30 ESXi hosts, using vLCM (Lifecycle Manager) with cluster images, and collaborating on the migration to vSphere v9\. * Hardware and firmware maintenance via HPE iLO and preventive infrastructure analysis using RVTools. * Coordination with the Storage team for LUN and datastore provisioning. * Provisioning and maintenance of templates for deploying new virtual machines. * Administration of the Omnissa Horizon or Citrix environment, including maintenance and patching of gold images, management of desktop pools, and SSL certificate renewal. * Level 2/3 support and resolution of performance or resource-related incidents. * Administration of Windows Server, from versions 2008 R2 through 2025\. * Management of Active Directory, GPOs for servers and workstations, DHCP, secondary DNS on Windows, and DFS. * Administration of Local CA / PKI on Windows Server and participation in its upgrade project. * Administration of Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 On\-Premise in a 3-server DAG cluster: maintenance, patching, relay connectors, policies, and failover. * Technical coexistence support during the migration to Microsoft 365 carried out by an external provider. * Administration of SCCM / WSUS for patching workstations and servers, and execution of large-scale contingency operations. * Use of PowerShell and PowerCLI for task automation, bulk executions, and generation of execution and rollback scripts. * Change management under ITIL methodology, including RFC preparation and presentation, definition of step-by-step implementation plans, and contingency plans. * Liaison with and support to healthcare environment vendors. * Monitoring with Nagios, coordinated with Zabbix for network monitoring. * Participation in 24x7 on-call duties. **What are we looking for?** * At least 4\-5 years of experience managing critical Wintel/vSphere environments. * Proficiency in VMware vSphere v8/v9, vLCM, ESXi, and vCenter. * Experience with Omnissa Horizon or Citrix. * Experience with Windows Server 2008\-2025 and Active Directory/GPOs. * Experience with Exchange Server 2016 in a DAG cluster. * Knowledge of SCCM / WSUS, Local CA (PKI), and DFS. * Fluent use of PowerShell / PowerCLI. * Experience working with ITIL methodology, especially in Change Management, RFCs, and rollback plans. * Availability to perform 24x7 on-call duties. * Knowledge of SQL Server administration is a plus. **What do we offer at Logicalis Spain?** Logicalis Spain is an international group with over 20 years of experience in the IT sector, engaged in large-scale projects and services across Data Centers, Cybersecurity, and Analytics. * Intensive work schedule every Friday, and during July and August. * Work mode: 2 days of remote work per week. * Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. * Birthday holiday \+ personal day off. * Access to flexible compensation plans: meal card and transport card. * Private Medical Insurance and Wellhub. * Significant discounts on various services and training as a Logicalis employee: retail, electronics, travel, among others. * Role-specific training and certifications. * Professional development on cutting-edge projects and with current market technologies.
