




Position Summary: We are seeking a Linux/VMware systems administrator for a critical environment who can anticipate and resolve infrastructure issues. Key Highlights: 1. A project offering stability and continuity within a robust technical environment. **Description:** ---------------- Not everyone enjoys reading logs, adjusting permissions, or fine-tuning systems until they operate exactly as intended. Yet those who do know that this is precisely where what matters truly happens. This project is not about merely maintaining servers—it’s about understanding how systems work, anticipating problems, and resolving them before they escalate. * Location: Cuzco Area – Plaza de Castilla (Madrid) * Work Mode: 3 days remote / 2 days on-site * Schedule: 7:00–15:00 (Fridays \+ 2 weekdays). 10:00–19:00 (remaining 2 days) * Experience: \+3 years with Linux / \+2 years with VMware * On-call duty: Starting from the third month (24x7\) Your Responsibilities: * You will work in an environment where infrastructure is mission-critical and leaves no room for improvisation. * You will administer systems based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7 or later) and virtualized environments using VMware vSphere (6\.x / 7\.x), handling: user, group, and permission management network and access configuration (SSH) package installation and maintenance (RPM, Flatpak) security management with SELinux shell scripting development container management with Podman storage administration (NFS, LVM) virtualized environment operations (provisioning, decommissioning, resource allocation, templates) What We Are Looking For: * A technically proficient candidate with real-world Linux systems experience, accustomed to demanding environments and capable of independent judgment when diagnosing and resolving incidents. * Especially valued: Certifications such as RHCSA, VCP, or ITIL; experience automating tasks with Ansible; familiarity with Red Hat Satellite; knowledge of security practices in Red Hat environments; or exposure to platforms like Oracle Exadata. * This project is designed for someone seeking stability and continuity within a solid technical environment. After the initial months, availability for 24x7\ on-call duty is required.
