At Grupo PROEDUCA, we are seeking a **Technical Project Lead / Technical Project Leader (Java)** to coordinate strategic technology projects, combining team leadership with an essential technical role. You will translate business needs into technical solutions, ensure code quality, and oversee end-to-end project execution. **What will you do on a day-to-day basis?** * Lead technically demanding projects, serving as a reference point for the development team. * Deeply understand functional requirements and translate them into clear technical instructions. * Analyze, review, and approve code to ensure quality, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability. * Validate that solutions comply with architectural standards and the team’s best practices. * Coordinate human and technical resources involved in each project. * Supervise the technical quality of deliverables and ensure roadmap adherence with confidence. * Identify risks, anticipate issues, and establish proactive mitigation plans. * Report project status to management using key KPIs: velocity, quality, risks. * Manage deployment processes and continuous integration (CI/CD). **Tech Stack you’ll be working with** * Java 8/17/21 * Spring / Spring Boot * AWS * REST / Microservices (APIs) * Maven (MVN) * Unit Testing * Management tools: Jira, MS Project * Agile metrics: velocity, burndown **What are we looking for?** * University degree in Computer Engineering or related Higher Vocational Training qualifications. * **Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle.** * **More than 5 years’ experience in Java development and technical team leadership.** * Solid technical foundation in Java programming and the Spring ecosystem. * Ability to understand, review, and guide code production. * Experience managing technology vendors and mixed teams (internal/external). * Analytical, organized, solution-oriented profile with strong technical vision. * Ability to clearly communicate complex technical requirements to the team or other stakeholders. **What do we offer?** ✅ Permanent contract and stability within a continuously growing Educational Group.
