This is your opportunity to make history. We are looking for an Occupational Medicine Specialist to join one of our centers. Key job responsibilities * Conduct occupational health examinations and provide medical assistance, including performing assessments, writing reports, and delivering first aid. * Participate in the WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) team by analyzing risks, proposing improvements, and managing high-sensitivity cases. * Coordinate with authorities, mutual insurance companies, and external prevention services on matters related to workplace accidents and investigations. * Prepare epidemiological reports, improvement plans, and proactive programs to enhance employee health, as well as collect statistical data for management. * Ensure compliance with Spanish legislation, implement safety and ergonomics training programs, and promote health commitment among management and employees. A day in the life We start the day with a meeting alongside the nursing team to prepare for the day ahead, followed by reviewing emails and messages on Slack and Chime. Then, we begin conducting health examinations and attend to any medical consultations that arise. After all, our employees' health comes first. We also work with PRL technicians to review incidents. We spend time managing and developing critical projects aimed at optimizing individual and collective health. Other parts of the day may include meetings with stakeholders such as DDD, MUTUA, and CSS. We also dedicate time to managing and developing important projects to improve individual and collective health. At the end of the day, shift handover arrives, during which we share updates from the day. About the team The Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team plays a vital role in protecting the mental and physical well-being of our people. Our team works with managers, technicians, and local governments across all our centers, ensuring compliance with Amazon's policies, regulations, and workplace safety standards. There are many types of roles within the team, ranging from occupational risk prevention technicians to program managers. Regardless of your role, you will participate in developing, implementing, and maintaining our strict health and safety standards. You will work on various projects with colleagues across the company, from equipment and process inspections to procedure evaluations or designing workstations and equipment.**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor's/Degree in Medicine * Specialist in Occupational Medicine. * Experience as an internal or external Occupational Medicine Physician. * Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, analytical, reasoning, and customer-oriented skills. * Availability to support different Fulfillment Centers * Fluent in Spanish. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- Preferred qualifications are a plus but not required to apply for the position. If you meet the basic qualifications listed above, we would love to hear from you. * Proven knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety in an industrial and logistics environment. * Knowledge of local-level Workplace Health and Safety procedures and legal aspects. * Experience leading and developing a team is a bonus. * Fluent English * Willingness to travel periodically at a regional level.
