Description At Castañé Grup, a family-owned company specialized in the design and manufacture of custom industrial wooden packaging, located in Besalú (Garrotxa), we are seeking a versatile workshop operator to join our workshop team. What is the objective of your role? Ensure the correct assembly and preparation of custom wooden packaging, providing support to maintenance and logistics departments, with the goal of guaranteeing quality, efficiency, and organization in daily workshop operations. What will be your responsibilities? - Assembling and manufacturing wooden packaging according to production specifications and blueprints. - Using manual and electric tools for cutting, assembling, and finishing wood parts. - Performing quality control on finished products and verifying measurements. - Supporting the logistics department: loading and unloading materials, preparing orders, and organizing stock. - Supporting the maintenance department: basic facility maintenance (painting, cleaning, organizing, minor repairs, etc.), adapting existing facilities for new projects, etc. - Collaborating in tasks related to continuous improvement of the production process. - Participating in the management and organization of material and tool inventory.
