What makes SGS special, among other things, is our culture. **Job Description** We are looking to hire a **Safety and Health Coordinator** for construction projects, in accordance with **Royal Decree 1627/1997**, which regulates minimum safety and health provisions on construction sites. Your mission will be to ensure the proper application of preventive principles during the design and execution phases, safeguarding the safety of all parties involved in the project. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate the application of general prevention principles during the design and execution of the project. * Approve the Safety and Health Plan prepared by the contractor and any subsequent modifications. * Coordinate on-site activities to ensure consistency in the implementation of preventive measures by contractors, subcontractors, and self-employed workers. * Promote cooperation among concurrent companies. * Conduct periodic site visits and issue follow-up reports. * Monitor compliance with safe work procedures. * Prepare or supervise the Safety and Health Study or the Basic Study, as applicable. **Requirements** * Required university degree: Architecture, Engineering, Technical Architecture, or Technical Engineering. * Specific training in Occupational Risk Prevention (minimum 300 hours, advanced level). * Proven experience in safety and health coordination on construction sites. * Up-to-date knowledge of current regulations (RD 1627/1997, LOE, RD 39/1997, RD 171/2004). * Teamwork skills, leadership, and communication abilities with multiple stakeholders. * Valid driver's license. **Desirable Qualifications** * Experience in building construction and civil works. * Proficiency with digital tools for document management and coordination. * Valid driver's license and availability for travel within the province of Girona. **Additional Information** **What can we offer you?** Working at SGS means joining a team where innovation, integrity, and safety are **our DNA.** **Our best secret?** The people who make up SGS.
