We seek to hire a Data Engineer with experience in Big Data and Cloud environments to participate in the design and development of scalable data solutions on AWS, working on high-impact technology projects for major clients. This position is based in a city to be determined, following a hybrid work model—working some days from home and others from the office, where you can create meaningful synergies with your team. Residency in Spain and valid work authorization in Spain are mandatory. Main Responsibilities: * Design and develop data architectures on AWS—including data lakes and data warehouses—using services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, and Athena. * Implement and maintain production data pipelines using Big Data technologies such as Spark, Scala, Hive, Kafka, or Flink, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and data quality. * Develop data ingestion, transformation, and consumption processes, integrating NoSQL databases and serverless services such as Lambda and Step Functions. * Collaborate in Agile environments, participating in continuous integration and deployment cycles using CI/CD tools and version control systems. Responsibilities: * Define and implement data technical solutions aligned with functional and non-functional project requirements. * Ensure proper operation of data pipelines in production environments, applying best practices in monitoring and optimization. * Participate in technical code and architecture reviews, contributing to the continuous improvement of data platforms. * Coordinate closely with other technical roles (architects, analysts, developers) within multidisciplinary teams. Mandatory Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical engineering disciplines. * Minimum 2 years of professional production experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Scala, Hive, Kafka, or Flink. * Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with AWS data services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Lambda, and Step Functions. * Professional experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, HBase, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra. * Experience working in Agile environments and using CI/CD tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, and Sonar. Desirable Requirements: * Additional professional experience in other cloud environments such as Azure. * Prior experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake. * Technical certifications in AWS, Azure, or Big Data (Cloudera, Databricks, MongoDB, Kafka, or equivalent). * Prior experience in technology projects for major clients.
