




Position Summary: We are seeking a Technical Director to lead innovative Space and Defense projects, designing satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in high-technology international projects At Sener, we aim to incorporate a Technical Director for Space and Defense Projects into our Las Arenas/Zamudio office. We are a pioneering engineering company specializing in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In Defense, we address the design and production of equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. Our passion for precision has positioned us as trusted collaborators of leading space agencies, government bodies, and enterprises. The selected candidate will join projects related to Defense and Space Mechanisms to develop new products in the fields of pointing, positioning, and stabilization mechanisms, as well as actuation and aerodynamic surface control systems. **Your Responsibilities:** * Collaborate with project management in client communication, ensuring sound technical justification of the product. * Design mechanisms and structures for Defense and Space. * Coordinate and supervise various development activities, participating in several of them: mechanism architecture definition, preliminary component sizing, 3D design, structural and thermal analysis, performance analysis, specification and selection of mechanical components (e.g., lead screws, bearings, motors, gearboxes, etc.). * Prepare documentation: design descriptions, technical justifications, etc. * Coordinate with other technical disciplines—such as electronics and automation—to analyze requirements, interfaces, budgets, and system performance. * Launch and technically monitor procurement deliveries. * Define the design validation campaign; prototype assembly and testing. * Direct client communication. * Participate in proposals for new projects. **What We Expect From You:** * Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum 10 years of experience performing the responsibilities described above. * Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical component design, calculation, and testing; and minimum 2 years of technical leadership experience managing product development teams within R\+D or Engineering departments of manufacturing companies (automotive, aerospace, rail, machine tools, robotics, etc.). * Advanced level of English. **What We Offer You:** These are some of the benefits you will enjoy at Sener: * Opportunity to participate in innovative, high-technology international projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team. * Better time management through our flexible working hours and remote work policies. * Optimize your salary via our flexible compensation plan (meal card, private health insurance, childcare vouchers, etc.), plus life and accident insurance. * Comprehensive physical and emotional wellbeing program, including sports, workshops, etc. * Professional development support, including technical training, soft skills, language courses, etc., to help you grow and achieve your goals. * Commitment to equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion; certified as a Family-Responsible Entity (FRE).
