Description
In Avilés (Asturias), personnel are needed to perform metal beveling tasks. The duties involve cutting the edges of metal parts at an inclined angle using a plasma cutter, creating precise angles—such as 30 or 45 degrees—that welders require to join thick metals without weakening them. It also includes removing sharp edges and cleaning imperfections.
Previous experience in beveling with a plasma cutter is required, as well as forklift and overhead crane operator licenses. Proficiency in operating these tools with precision is essential.
Employment conditions include monthly contracts based on production demand, full-time work on rotating shifts: morning shift (6:00–14:00) and afternoon shift (14:00–22:00). Salary and other conditions are governed by the Metalworkers’ Collective Agreement of the Principality of Asturias.
