Assisting in inventory control and order placement We are looking for a kitchen assistant for a position in Cangas de Onís (Asturias). Main duties will include food preparation tasks such as peeling, cutting, and chopping vegetables, fruits, meats, and fish. It is essential to maintain cleanliness of the work area, machinery, and utensils, always adhering to food safety regulations. You will also participate in cooking and plating simple dishes, assisting with final presentation under the chef’s supervision. You will manage organization in the warehouse, refrigerators, and freezers, ensuring proper product rotation. Additionally, you will assist in inventory control and communicate when new orders are required. Prior experience in similar roles is valued. The contract is an indefinite fixed-term discontinuous full-time and continuous position, with salary according to the Asturias Hospitality Collective Agreement.
