Project Delivery * To work with Project Managers in defining, designing, documenting and deploying new functionality for existing and new applications. * To liaise with the Application Developers in low level diagnosis of on-going issues. * To provide subject matter expertise on core technologies to all business application teams. * To contribute to the improvement of process and technology used within BNP PARIBAS. Incident Resolution * To respond as required to live production incidents, working to resolve immediate underlying technical issues to restore normal production service * To liaise with other technical and application team members to ensure incident resolution is delivered in a controlled and focused manner * To contribute to the incident management follow up by providing detailed steps for analysis following high priority incidents * Ensure all support activities have been logged on the Incident and Request Logging Tool and that the logs are updated with comprehensive resolution details Problem Management * To work with the Problem Management team to conduct analysis of major and critical incidents * To identify tactical or strategic improvements that can be introduced to help reduce the number of on-going incidents within CIB Change Management * To work within the Change Management framework adopted by BNP PARIBAS to ensure that all changes to the production environment are planned and executed in a controlled manner * To take responsibility for the quality of changes within the environment, ensuring that changes raised are of sufficient standard in terms of technical and planning detail * To work within BNP Paribas’ Content Release Management strategy to provide updates to sites for both functionality and content * Attending and sharing knowledge / updates in the Weekly Change Control Board Meetings and the Weekly Problem Management Meetings **Qualifications** Essential * IBM MQ Series administration (3 years of expertise) * High expertise on Linux environments (advanced user skills not admin skills are needed) * Automation and scripting capabilities. Ansible skills will be valued. * Basic infrastructure knowledge: operating systems, datacenters, networks, storage etc * Team and collaborative working to develop and deliver appropriate solutions skills. * Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines. * Customer service oriented skills.
