The company is able to offer best\-in\-class launch services to commercial satellite operators, institutions, space agencies and national and international governmental entities. **Mission** Your mission in a highly skilled and demanding aerospace environment, as the Logistics Manager, will be to be responsible for defining, coordinating and optimizing all intra\-company and external logistics activities across multiple plants. This role combines operational excellence with strategic oversight, ensuring material availability, cost efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain. The position acts as a key interface between procurement, subcontracting, warehouses, engineering, quality and external partners, contributing directly to business performance and program success. **Responsibilities** **Logistics Strategy \& Governance** * Define, implement and continuously improve the company’s logistics strategy (internal flows, external logistics and supplier interfaces). * Ensure alignment of logistics activities with business objectives, production plans and program milestones. * Establish logistics standards, procedures and KPIs across all plants. **Intra\-company Logistics** * Manage and optimize internal material flows between plants, warehouses and production areas. * Coordinate inter\-plant transfers, storage strategies and internal transportation. * Ensure inventory accuracy, availability and optimization (stock levels, turnover, obsolescence). **External Logistics \& Supplier Interface** * Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics activities with suppliers, carriers and freight forwarders. * Identify logistics needs and select, manage and evaluate carriers and logistics service providers. * Lead negotiations with logistics providers (rates, contracts, service levels). * Ensure compliance with international transport regulations, customs, export control and aerospace requirements. **Planning \& Operations** * Maintain and oversee logistics planning activities and delivery/pick\-up schedules. * Anticipate risks and capacity constraints, proposing mitigation plans. * Act as escalation point for critical logistics issues impacting production or programs. **Systems \& Data Management** * Define, maintain and improve logistics systems and databases to manage: * Carrier performance and costs * Contractual and volume commitments * Service levels and KPIs * Drive data\-based decision making and reporting to management. **Leadership \& Cross\-functional Coordination** * Lead, coach and develop the logistics team (if applicable). * Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders through proactive communication and problem\-solving. * Act as key logistics reference for Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations and Program Management. * Provide backup and coordination support to Supply Chain Buyers when required. **Continuous Improvement** * Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (cost reduction, lead time reduction, process standardization). * Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization and process optimization. **Required Competences** **Education \& Experience** * Higher education preferred. * Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with proven responsibility in coordination or management functions. * Experience in industrial and/or aerospace environments is highly valued. * Experience managing logistics in multi\-site or complex organizations. **Technical Skills** * Strong knowledge of logistics operations, international transport and customs regulations. * Solid understanding of inventory management and planning. * International knowledge of import/ export regulations, as well as export control experience (ITAR/EAR knowledge is a must) * Demonstrable experience in customs procedures and processes related to the import and export of goods.
