Development of new skills and global experience **Description:** ---------------- **GRUPOTEC** is currently looking for a **Junior Mechanical Supervisor**, who will join one of our photovoltaic projects **located in the United Kingdom (UK)**, on-site. The main **RESPONSIBILITIES**, to be carried out alongside a Senior colleague, include: * Supervising project execution within your discipline; exercising control and supervision over subcontractors, as well as over the quality of completed work. * Verifying that mechanical work progresses according to the established schedule. * Resolving issues arising during execution of the mechanical scope of work. * Issuing regular reports as required by project execution needs. * Ensuring compliance with safety regulations to prevent accidents. * Supervising acceptance tests for construction and installation, specialized in PV plants. * Supervising contractor compliance with QA/QC requirements, both during execution and commissioning. * Directing and controlling activities at the corresponding project work fronts, following instructions provided by engineers and verifying compliance with client requirements. **Requirements:** --------------- **What REQUIREMENTS will we value or expect the candidate to meet?** * Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Master’s in Renewable Energy Resources (RER), or equivalent. * Prior training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) for fieldwork is desirable. * Intermediate-to-advanced level of **English (B2 or higher)** * Prior experience supervising mechanical aspects of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, combined cycles, concentrated solar power, etc.) will be valued. * Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office suite).
