




Position Summary: We are seeking a Technology Pre-sales Consultant to demonstrate the value of products and services to customers, design technical solutions, and develop proposals. At **Grupo Clave**, we collaborate with a leading technology company specializing in the design and implementation of advanced solutions, which is looking to hire a **Technology Pre-sales Consultant** to strengthen its team and support the commercial area in high-value-added projects. **POSITION MISSION** The selected candidate will be responsible for **demonstrating the value and benefits of the company’s products and services to potential customers**, ensuring that proposed solutions meet their needs. To achieve this, they will conduct accurate requirement analyses, design viable and competitive technical solutions, develop and defend technical and economic proposals, and provide support to the commercial area throughout the pre-sales cycle. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements from potential customers. * Identifying explicit and implicit needs, as well as constraints related to scope, timelines, budget, environment, and applicable regulations. * Validating and documenting requirements agreed upon with the customer. * Designing technical solutions aligned with customer needs and the company’s portfolio. * Analyzing and comparing products and technologies to select the most suitable solution. * Defining architectures, sizing, assumptions, and exclusions for proposed solutions. * Developing detailed technical proposals (scope, methodology, deliverables, schedule, and success criteria). * Collaborating on the development of economic proposals for projects and consulting, implementation, operations, and maintenance services. * Ensuring consistency between the technical and economic content of proposals. * Participating in proposal defenses and technical presentations to customers. * Preparing and executing demonstrations and proofs of concept (PoC) where applicable. * Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical and economic information, as well as supporting negotiations of terms. * Monitoring market trends and tracking emerging technologies and trends in networking, cybersecurity, physical security, IoT, and digital transformation. * Proposing improvements or new solutions aligned with market evolution. * Occasional participation in project execution and support during the transition from pre-sales to execution when required. **POSITION REQUIREMENTS** * Minimum of **5 years’ experience as a pre-sales consultant**. * Demonstrable experience in developing **technical proposals and economic valuations**. * Solid knowledge of technology domains related to **networking, cybersecurity, physical security, IoT, and digital transformation**. * Experience in **public procurement processes** and preparation of associated technical documentation. * Ability to analyze technical documentation, compare products, design solutions, and conduct demonstrations or proofs of concept. * Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation development capabilities. * Capacity for self-directed learning and continuous updating. * **Technical English at B2 level**. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Additional experience in operations, project execution, or technical consulting. * Manufacturer certifications such as Extreme Networks, Aruba, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Forescout, Bosch, Cloudflare, Extrahop, A10\. * Experience in complex sectors or technological environments. **CONDITIONS** * Joining an established and growing technology company. * Participation in innovative and high-technology-value projects. * Professional development and continuous learning. * Collaborative and specialized work environment. * Competitive financial conditions commensurate with experience provided.
