Performance of the nursing role within an interdisciplinary team Hospital del Mar is a comprehensive health services organization, recognized as an innovative institution focused on proximity-based care for citizens, supported by an outstanding professional team—of which we invite you to become a part. **Geriatric Nurse** Deliver care to **geriatric patients** through specialized nursing interventions ensuring the highest quality and patient safety. **Nursing Competencies** * Ability to coordinate, lead, and manage clinical services in gerontological care. * Ability to deliver high-quality nursing care for conditions involving frailty, illness, disability, and dependency in older adults. * Ability to assess and develop appropriate individualized care plans jointly with the older adult, their caregivers, family members, and other professionals. * Ability to perform the nursing role within an interdisciplinary team. * Ability to inform, educate, and supervise older adults and their families using principles of learning-based education. * Ability to conduct nursing research in geriatric and gerontological fields aimed at generating, organizing, and deepening discipline-specific knowledge. * Ability to teach, educate, and supervise older adults, their families, other professionals, and students regarding care practices and healthy habits for maintaining health. **Workplace Conditions** * Contract duration: 1 year * Workload: full-time (40 hours per week) * Location: Fòrum Applicants must not have been dismissed from public administration service due to any disciplinary proceedings, nor have criminal records for offenses disqualifying them from holding public office.
