Conflict prevention and resolution, and intercultural mediation DESCRIPTION **Position Objective** Support the development of the strategy and operational lines of the Programme Directorate, through the management of intervention projects, in order to strengthen the autonomy, dignity and well-being of programme beneficiaries, under the supervision of the Territorial Area Manager. **Main Responsibilities** * Provide individual and/or group support to service users within the framework of quality systems and area strategy. * Provide information about SAPIT, as well as guidance on possible alternatives based on the individual’s situation. * Conduct appropriate assessment of eligibility criteria for participation in SAPIT for supported individuals, as well as identification of the most suitable resource for referral. * Design and support social and socio-labour intervention pathways jointly with programme participants. * Identify and diagnose potential situations of vulnerability among migrants and specific reception needs. * Prepare all necessary reports for pathway implementation within the scope of responsibilities: follow-up reports, admission reports, proposals for extension of stay at reception centres, transfer reports, mandatory/protective discharge reports, referrals to second-phase services or external entities, economic aid management reports, etc. * Carry out referrals to external Organisation services. * Manage and organise transfers of programme beneficiaries, if required. * Accompany and conduct home visits with programme participants. * Carry out necessary procedures for health prevention/treatment, municipal registration (empadronamiento), school enrolment of minors and their access to socio-educational resources. * Design and monitor effective management of leisure and free-time activities for service users. * Directly provide language training to programme beneficiaries when required. * Continuously assess language acquisition processes (design/administer level tests, review content delivered by contracted providers, organise groups and schedules, attendance sheets, logistical arrangements for venues, etc.) when required. * Support housing search as a cornerstone of social inclusion, and monitor housing conditions of service users. * Design and implement pre-vocational and vocational training actions, as well as related materials and methodologies, to improve employability of participants when required. * Support the manager in organising, validating, justifying and applying quality and continuous professional and research evaluation systems, aimed at reorienting practice and continuously improving intervention models. * Prepare reports, statistical reports and technical justifications for area programmes. * Facilitate conflict prevention and resolution, and intercultural mediation. * Assess, manage, monitor and justify economic aid, where applicable. * Accompany and support volunteers assigned to various programme services. * Maintain relations with suppliers and supervise contracted services, if required. * Register data in the SIRIA database, CEARNET Organisation databases and any other databases dependent on programme management. REQUIREMENTS **Education/Knowledge** * University degree in Social Work * Professional registration (Colegiación) * Specific training in areas related to asylum, migration, social/socio-labour intervention, employment orientation, business management, entrepreneurship and social economy. * Demonstrable training and experience in project management cycle based on logical framework approach, including project formulation, management and justification. * IT skills: knowledge of statistical software, database management and Microsoft Office suite. * Training in gender equality. Languages: French and/or English C1 * **Experience** * Minimum 3 years’ experience in reception and social intervention in the field of migrants and/or refugees. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in development and implementation of individualised labour insertion and social inclusion pathways, preferably for groups at risk of exclusion and refugees/migrants. * Experience in using the SIRIA (MISSM) tool. * 3 years’ experience working with highly vulnerable individuals and/or those at risk of exclusion, preferably refugees/migrants.
