We are seeking to hire a Supply Chain Manager for one of our manufacturing plants located in **Romania**. **JOB MISSION** Lead and manage all stages of the supply chain for the Romanian manufacturing plant, ensuring optimal material and product flow from procurement through to final delivery. The objective is to guarantee stock availability, process efficiency and profitability, and compliance with service standards for both internal and external suppliers and customers. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Planning and On-Time Delivery** * Lead end-to-end supply chain planning for the plant. * Monitor on-time performance across all process stages. * Supervise actions required to fulfill orders, setting priorities and ensuring production targets are met. **Supplier Management (Internal and External)** * Optimize purchasing and storage criteria for raw materials and supplies to meet production objectives. * Monitor and evaluate external supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, and service). * Coordinate with internal departments to ensure continuity of material flow. * Lead resolution of supply disruptions in coordination with Planning and Production. **Internal Logistics and Warehousing** * Optimize receiving, put-away, and intra-plant movement processes. * Oversee material handling and component lot tracking, ensuring process fluidity and stock turnover. * Guarantee inventory accuracy, minimizing stockouts and overstocks. * Implement warehouse layout improvements to maximize operational efficiency. **Shipping and Internal Customer Service** * Manage internal customer supply requests, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery. * Coordinate internal departmental priorities to ensure achievement of customer objectives. **Leadership and Continuous Improvement** * Lead and develop the team reporting to you. * Monitor key area KPIs (inventory turnover, service level, stockouts, OTIF). * Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions using Lean methodologies. **REQUIRED PROFILE** **Education** * Technical or University Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Organization, or equivalent experience. * A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is advantageous. Experience * 3\-5 years in similar roles in logistics management, supply chain, or procurement. * Demonstrable experience in end-to-end supply function management: planning, procurement, and materials logistics. **Technical Knowledge** * Experience with ERP systems (BAAN, SAP), WMS, Olanet, or equivalent tools is advantageous. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI for analysis and reporting. **Languages** * High-level English (mandatory). * Additional languages are valued, especially Romanian. **Professional Profile** * Results- and customer-oriented, with a strong service mindset. * High degree of autonomy and decision-making capability. * Proven team leadership skills, including experience managing multicultural environments. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Effective communication and negotiation skills. * Team player.
