About the Transport Organization The Transport team is Coty’s center of expertise for transportation strategy, operational frameworks, governance and performance management across all transport modes. Coty is undergoing a major transformation of its logistics operating model, including the centralization of transport teams into a Barcelona Hub. Role Purpose We are looking for an experienced Road Transport Senior Manager to join the COTY “Go to Customer” Transport Team, based in Barcelona. This role will manage the Transport operations end\-to\-end, outbound from the DC to North and Central European customers, including various Business Units as well as DTC for the e\-com channel. Within the Simple, Standard, Central framework, the individual will focus on two **horizons:** * Centralization of the operations in the SC hub in Barcelona, developing a new team and transitioning the current responsibilities from the local team. * Driving process simplification \& standardization, operational improvements, and enhancing performance and operational carrier management. to achieve the cost, service, agility and sustainability targets The individual will contribute to the supply strategy in the definition of carrier strategy, cooperating with cross functional teams including procurement and project managers, to set up the right set of suppliers through tender processes. He/She will be working very closely Customer Service and DCs teams and externally very closely with our LSP’s. Key relationships in addition will be with the IT community, as well as Finance and Procurement. Key Responsibilities 1\. Transport Operations * Own all outbound road transport flows from a DC to markets supplied out of the DC. * Ensure daily service performance (OTP/OTD), stable lead times, capacity management. * Act as escalation point for transport disruptions, coordinating corrective actions with carriers, DC teams, and markets. * Ensure flawless handover of operational responsibilities from the Germany DC to the Barcelona hub. * Contribute to the carrier strategy in partnership with Procurement. 2\. Carrier Management \& Performance Leadership * Lead performance management cycles with carriers: QBRs, KPI reviews, issue resolution and development plans. * Organize Monthly/Quarterly/Annually Business Reviews with LSP’s * Ensure quality of tracking and operational data; challenge carriers where standards are not met. * Cooperate to standardize and simplify critical workprocesses, tool and KPIs, serving in the Central G2C team. * Drive efficiency initiatives such as consolidation. * Manage transport volumes and align carriers on required capacity. * Support RFQs, tender evaluations, cost simulations, and supplier selection for road transport. * Communicate with LSPs and DCs teams and other relevant stakeholders in order to obtain all required information to secure a smooth flow of products. 4\. Cost, Cash \& Sustainability Management * Own the transport cost performance for the outbound network. * Monitor road transport budget alignment and financial KPIs. * Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising service. * Contribute to Coty’s sustainability goals by developing greener and more efficient transport flows. 5\. Cross\-Functional Collaboration **The role interacts extensively with:** * DC teams, Customer Service * Procurement, Finance. * IT (for tools, visibility, and reporting solutions) * External Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) This requires strong communication, relationship management, and influence across a matrixed environment. What You’ll Bring Education \& Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain; Master’s degree is an advantage. * 8–10 years of relevant transport/logistics experience, including road freight across multiple EU countries. Experience in parcel distribution and express courier management * Experience in multinational environments is highly valuable. * Proven success in supply chain transformation, centralization projects, or shared\-service operations. Skills \& Competencies * Strong analytical skills and data\-driven problem solving. * Operational rigor with the ability to stabilize and improve complex transport flows. * Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence across levels and geographies. * Strong team player \- able to effectively and proactively act in a complex matrix organization. * Advanced Excel \& Power BI skills; SAP is an advantage. * Strong communication skills. * Fluency in English required; German is a plus. * Autonomous, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure. * Ability to translate complexity into simple, actionable insights.
