Promote and lead R&D initiatives and innovation activities **Space Missions Product Engineer (Trainee)** **Join our team and build the furure of space technology** We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Space Missions Product Engineer; **with passion in what you do**, talented and experienced; to work on various small satellite missions within the Space Missions area of the company, specifically within the Product Team. The Missions area is responsible for conducting all tasks from the initial concept to the final design of the satellite. Specifically, as part of the product team, the candidate will help both in defining and improving the company stablished Space Missions Portfolio and be involved in Alén Space’s future R\&D initiatives. **What you will be doing?** * Communicating effectively both internally and externally. Clear communication and an understanding of others’ perspectives are essential to this position. * Align user needs, company objectives, internal solutions, and market trends. * Define and maintain product roadmaps, strategic plans, and implementation plans. * Transform project\-specific solutions and valuable knowledge into standardized practices. * Identify recurring pain points and develop effective, scalable solutions. * Monitor market trends and anticipate future challenges to proactively prepare responses. * Provide technical support to the Sales team for new business opportunities. * Promote a product\-oriented mindset across projects and teams. * Promote and lead R\&D initiatives and innovation activities. * Follow\-up of technical anomalies within the area and provide processes to improve them. **What do we need in our team** * Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering; a Master’s degree (or final year) in a related field is a plus. * Understanding of engineering principles with a product\-oriented mindset. * Creative, curious, and interested in a broad range of engineering disciplines. * Fluency in English.
