




Job Summary: We are seeking an accountant in Mataró to handle general accounting, reconciliations, account management, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating on financial closings and financial planning. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of the company’s general accounting 2. Collaboration in financial closings and financial planning 3. Preparation of financial reports for decision-making A company based in Mataró is looking for 1 accountant. A minimum of 7 years’ proven experience as an accountant or similar role in a corporate environment is required. A university degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is mandatory. Knowledge of ERP systems is required. Proficiency in MS Office, including Advanced Excel, is required. A 5-month temporary contract is offered. Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30–17:30 h; Friday, 8:30–14:00 h. Salary: €2,500 gross per month. - Management of the company’s general accounting, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions. - Bank reconciliations, management of accounts receivable and payable, and preparation of financial statements. - Compliance with current tax and accounting regulations. - Collaboration on monthly and annual closings, and participation in financial planning. - Management of accounting data within the ERP system, ensuring data update and accuracy of financial information, and providing support for continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes. - Generation of financial reports using digital tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar, facilitating data-driven decision-making. * 7 years’ experience. Proven experience as an accountant or similar role in a corporate environment. Experience preparing financial statements and complying with tax regulations. * Spanish (Intermediate spoken, Intermediate written) * Catalan (Intermediate spoken, Intermediate written) * Competencies / Knowledge: - University degree in accounting, finance, or business administration. - Prior knowledge and experience with ERP systems (Odoo or similar is desirable). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills. - Analytical skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and attention to detail. * Temporary employment contract (5 months) * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary: 2500 * Additional relevant information: Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30–17:30 h; Friday, 8:30–14:00 h
