Opened in the year 2000 by Harry Recanati and his wife, Martine Recanati, Museo Ralli houses one of the most important collections of modern and contemporary Latin American art in Europe, which is complemented by a permanent collection of European art. Comprised of ten exhibition halls, it displays the various avant-garde movements that emerged on both continents, with a special emphasis on surrealism from both Europe and Latin America. For over two decades, Museo Ralli Marbella has been dedicated to promoting Latin American art beyond its borders free of charge, thus fulfilling the mission of the Ralli Museums.
