Join our team and discover how, together, we can contribute today to the mining industry of the future. **Electrical and Instrumentation Technician III – Wet Area \- 7x7 D/N \- Zaldívar Mining Company (Fixed-Term Contract)** The purpose of this position is to coordinate, control, analyze, execute, report on, and ensure the implementation of preventive maintenance and corrective work, while also detecting failures in electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems, in compliance with standards and procedures related to Prevention, Health, Environment, Quality, and Social Responsibility. **Key Challenges:** * Interpret electrical system diagrams, such as single-line diagrams. * Interpret manufacturer manuals and operation manuals. * Perform maintenance on instrumentation equipment, PLCs, sensors, overhead cranes, cathode stripping machines, electrical starters, drives, electric motors, rectifier transformers. * Design control circuits for motor starting or lighting circuits. * Control and execute maintenance preparations. * Lead the execution of identified work requirements. * Determine, measure, and analyze low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical parameters. * Measure, analyze, diagnose, and direct actions to resolve faults occurring in components of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation circuits. * Use the SAP maintenance management system at the user level, according to the assigned profile. * Ensure and verify predefined instrument and protective relay setting values. Calculate parameters and adjust as necessary. Redesign as required and implement upon approval. * Redesign electrical systems as required and implement upon approval. * Lead repair and maintenance work on medium- and high-voltage systems. * Analyze failures and propose a preventive plan. * Improve work practices and provide training. * Know and apply technical and legal regulations governing the maintenance of electrical substations. Review, correct, and prepare work procedures. * **What Requirements Must You Meet?:** * Technical professional or graduate in Electrical Engineering and/or Industrial Control Systems, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electronic Systems, or related field. * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar positions. * Knowledge and experience in maintenance within the LX\-SX\-EW area. * Knowledge of low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical machines. * Knowledge of basic and power electrical systems. * Knowledge of instrumentation equipment, lighting circuits, and electropneumatic circuits. * Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings. * Knowledge of cathode stripping machines and harvesting overhead cranes. * Knowledge of frequency converters and soft starters. * Knowledge of Nave EW power rectifiers. * Proficiency in using and reading measuring instruments. * Availability to work on site under a 7x7 day/night shift schedule. * Familiarity with NFPA\-70E standards. * Class B driver’s license (minimum 3 years’ validity). * This position is based in Antofagasta; willingness to reside in the region is required.
