This position reports to: Production Supervisor **Job Description** We are seeking a candidate for the role of Production Supervisor in thermoplastic injection at ABB's Niessen factory. The selected individual will manage available human and material resources during their shift and collaborate with other shifts to meet established production and improvement goals. This role operates under a 3-shift system (Morning, Afternoon, Night) and includes responsibilities such as: * Ensuring employee safety in all daily processes * Working towards optimizing production in terms of quality, cost, and service * Short-term production planning (production scheduling) * Driving solutions for daily problems and unexpected issues * Actively participating in proposing and implementing improvements * Promoting and supporting improvement suggestions from the shift team * Managing personnel within the shift: training and multi-skilling plans, leave and vacation schedules, rotations, etc. * Ensuring implementation and maintenance of work standards: OOL, communication, autonomous maintenance, quality standards, etc. * Maintaining continuous interdepartmental communication: Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Workshop, etc. **Candidate Profile** We are looking for someone who not only contributes to the daily management of the section but also brings experience and knowledge to improve equipment and processes. The required and desirable qualifications for this candidate include: * Technical education: Higher Vocational Training in Plastics, Industrial Maintenance, Production, or Technical Engineering (preferred). * Leadership and team management skills * Previous experience in team management is an advantage * Experience in thermoplastic injection processes is beneficial * Ability to analyze and solve technical and organizational problems * Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, PDCA, etc. * Soft skills: Proactivity, problem-solving ability, communication skills, discipline, consistency, and flexibility * Familiarity with planning software or ERP systems (SAP, MES, or others) is advantageous * Knowledge of Basque and English is beneficial.
