We are recruiting an R&D Technician for our facility located in Merexo. **Main Responsibilities:** Key duties include: * Conducting and monitoring experimental trials according to established protocols. * Collaborating in the handling and monitoring of broodstock across all process stages, including reception, quarantine, maintenance, and developmental control. * Managing, culturing, and supervising embryos, larvae, and post-larvae throughout all developmental stages. * Performing biometric measurements and collecting biological and environmental samples according to established criteria. * Monitoring biological and environmental parameters in aquaculture systems, both in RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems) and open-flow systems. * Systematically recording, organizing, and cleaning data, and participating in the design of data recording templates. * Contributing to exploratory and inferential data analysis, and participating in the preparation of technical reports. * Conducting periodic literature reviews and incorporating relevant information. This position will be performed on-site at our facility in Merexo, requiring flexible working hours due to the nature of the biological processes under study. **Requirements:** * Education in or related to aquaculture. University-level studies are preferred but not mandatory. * Prior experimental work with animals—preferably fish—is valued. Working hours will be organized in rotating shifts, always including the 8:00–16:00 shift, and potentially supplemented by 14:00–22:00 or 16:00–24:00 shifts as scheduled. Additionally, some weekends will be required, following the established rotation system.
