**About the role** We are seeking a dedicated **IT Security Specialist** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our information systems and data. You will play a crucial role in protecting the organization from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with industry standards. **Key Tasks:** * Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard our IT infrastructure and data. * Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. * Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection laws and industry best practices. * Provide training and support to staff on security awareness and best practices to minimize risks. * Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization’s operations. * Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve security breaches and minimize impact. * Manage and prioritize the remediation of vulnerabilities identified in systems and applications, ensuring timely updates and patches. * Assist in the design and implementation of secure architecture solutions for new projects and systems. **Skills \& Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security or a related field, with a focus on cybersecurity measures and practices. * Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security\+ are preferred. * Strong knowledge of security technologies, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols. * Ability to analyze security incidents and determine effective solutions. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non\-technical staff. * Company values: Humility, Empathy, Responsibility, Commitment, Teamwork, and Effort. **We Offer:** The addition of an **IT Security Specialist** will enhance our cybersecurity posture, ensuring that our systems and data are protected against evolving threats.
