Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage and supervise the proper functioning of equipment and systems in residential care facilities for elderly people, including planning and coordination. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage residential care facilities and day centers for elderly people. 2. Provide high-quality, person-centered care for elderly individuals. 3. Perform preventive, corrective, and modification maintenance of facilities. The Pere Mata Group – Gente Mayor specializes in managing residential care facilities and day centers for elderly people in Barcelona city, the metropolitan area, and Central Catalonia. Its services deliver high-quality, person-centered care for elderly individuals. A Maintenance Technician is required for a residential care facility for elderly people to carry out preventive, corrective, and modification maintenance of all types of installations (low-voltage systems, heat generation, cooling, water, legionella prevention), etc. Requirements: * Medium-level Vocational Training in Electricity and Electronics. * Higher-level Vocational Training in one of the following specialties: Electrical and Automation Installations; Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Installations. * Personal vehicle. * Immediate availability. Responsibilities: * Planning, coordination, and supervision of the proper functioning of equipment and building systems in assisted-living facilities. * Organization and management of maintenance teams. * Execution and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance plans. * Maintenance of up-to-date inventories of facility installations. * Management and monitoring of external suppliers. * Organization and monitoring of on-call shifts. * Monitoring and supervision of subcontracted companies performing training-related maintenance or renovation work. * Preparation and updating of graphical documentation for buildings and installations. * And other duties.
