**About the position**

GEA Farm Technologies, a leading company in technological solutions for dairy production, is seeking to hire a Herd Management Specialist to strengthen its After-sales team in Santa Comba (A Coruña). We are looking for a person passionate about dairy production, herd management, and technological innovation applied to the livestock sector, who wishes to support our customers in optimizing their farms and maximizing the performance of GEA solutions. What will your mission be? To help farmers improve the productive, reproductive, and economic outcomes of their farms through technical advisory services, data analysis, and effective use of GEA tools and technologies.### **Your responsibilities and tasks**
* Conducting after-sales technical and commercial visits to promote and sell GEA services, products, and solutions.
* Managing and monitoring scheduled maintenance and service contracts.
* Providing support during the launch and implementation of new products and services.
* Delivering technical advisory services to customers on matters related to dairy herd handling and management.
* Providing training and support for using the GEA DairyPlan and GEA DairyNet platforms.
* Conducting audits and analyses of livestock farms prior to commissioning new equipment.
* Defining and monitoring optimization protocols to enhance productive, reproductive, and economic efficiency.
* Analyzing and monitoring key KPIs: milk production, quality, fertility, animal health, feed efficiency, and performance of automated systems.
* Providing continuous customer support to maximize return on investment from installed solutions.
* Collaborating with Sales, Technical Service, and Product Management teams to identify opportunities for improvement and business development.
### **Your profile and qualifications**
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, Technical Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience in the sector.
* Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the dairy cattle sector.
* Demonstrable experience in dairy herd handling and management.
* Knowledge of production, reproduction, animal health, and welfare.
* Experience with automated milking systems and livestock management technologies is desirable.
* Analytical ability and capacity to interpret productive indicators.
* Willingness to travel within A Coruña.
* Valid driving license class B.
