Job Summary: We are seeking a nursing assistant to provide comprehensive assistance and emotional support to residents, including personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and cognitive stimulation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive assistance with personal hygiene and nutrition. 2. Support with mobility and postural changes. 3. Providing emotional support, companionship, and cognitive stimulation. We are looking for a person to provide comprehensive assistance to residents in Castrillón (Asturias). Main tasks will include assisting with personal hygiene—such as bathing and brushing teeth—as well as dressing and feeding, including serving meals. Support with mobility is also required, including transfers between bed and chair, and postural changes to prevent pressure ulcers. The ability to provide emotional support, companionship, and conversation is highly valued, as is participation in recreational activities and cognitive stimulation. It is necessary to record residents’ basic vital signs—such as temperature and pulse—and report any significant changes in their physical or mental condition to the healthcare team. Candidates must hold the qualification of Nursing Assistant Technician (TCAE) or the Social-Healthcare Certificate for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions. A valid Class B driver’s license is mandatory. A permanent, full-time contract is offered, with rotating shifts, and salary will be based on the Eighth National Framework Agreement for Dependency Care.
