At Ormazabal, you will find a space to design your future—and the future of the rest of the world. **JOB DESCRIPTION** *Reporting to the Quality Department, your primary responsibility is to ensure that products supplied by suppliers comply with previously defined specifications.* We are seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Technician. **Responsibilities:** * Collaborate in supplier qualification. Qualify parts and/or components for new development by participating in related processes. Qualify parts and/or components for product modifications. * Develop supplier improvement plans and actively participate in procurement negotiations. * Evaluate suppliers. Monitor performance levels. Lead supplier evaluation feedback meetings, including management and analysis. * Plan, conduct, and follow up on supplier audits. Coordinate requests for process changes and supplier waivers. Perform metrology on supplier equipment. Track defective component indicators. * Communicate effectively and manage incidents with suppliers. Generate, analyze, and track significant supplier-originated nonconformities, establishing and verifying the effectiveness of containment and corrective actions. * Manage nonconforming components generated by external suppliers on the production line. * Participate in Procurement Committees, product modification forums, and subcontracting discussions that may impact MTID specifications and supplier processes. * Request waivers for parts or components outside specification or for non-qualified components. **REQUIREMENTS** * Required education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering. * Minimum experience: 3 years in the electrical sector. * Required knowledge: BAAN, Team Charter, Manufacturing Technologies, Qualification and Modification. * Languages: English (advanced level B2–C1). * Required competencies: A proactive individual with strong teamwork and communication skills is sought.
