




Job Summary: PCB Assembly Technician to plan and execute the manufacturing, assembly, and integration of printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies and avionics hardware equipment. The company is capable of delivering best-in-class launch services to commercial satellite operators, institutions, space agencies, and national and international governmental entities. **Mission** As a PCB Assembly Technician at PLD Space, your primary mission is: * To plan, control, and execute manufacturing and assembly procedures for printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies. * To plan, control, and execute electrical/mechanical assembly and integration of avionics hardware equipment at unit level. **Responsibilities** * Manufacturing, assembly, and integration * Reading, interpreting, analyzing, and working with manufacturing, assembly, and integration procedures; electrical/mechanical drawings; bills of materials; parts lists; and schematics. * Executing high-quality, reliable manufacturing and assembly processes for electrical wiring harnesses and internal cable bundles for avionics hardware equipment. * Performing and controlling the complete PCB assembly process, including pick-and-place machine programming, manual SMD/THT soldering, conformal coating, masking, and application of thermal epoxy and silicone, among others. * Performing electrical and mechanical assembly/integration of avionics hardware equipment at unit level. * Executing inspection procedures for First Article Inspections (FAI) of PCB assemblies prior to their integration into main products. * Supporting avionics technicians in Manufacturing Acceptance Inspection (MAI) activities for harnesses and avionics hardware integration into main assemblies. **Required Qualifications** * Creating controlled technical documentation regarding manufacturing, assembly, and integration criteria, as well as recommendations incorporating lessons learned and experience to support continuous improvement in this area. * Generating manufacturing, assembly, integration, and inspection reports to communicate results accurately, completely, and clearly. **Desired Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent qualification in electrical/electronic disciplines. * More than 4 years of professional experience in PCB assembly and related manufacturing processes. * Proven experience using PCB assembly and manufacturing tools. * Proven experience conducting PCBA inspections. * Proven experience using basic mechanical and electronic hand tools. * Ability to adapt to constantly changing tasks and a fast-paced work environment. * Excellent concentration and attention to detail, with outstanding work efficiency and precision. * Strong communication skills. * Languages: English and Spanish. **Benefits** **Health and Well-being** * On-site physiotherapy * 50% subsidy for your medical insurance * Competitive pricing for adding family members to your medical insurance * Healthy snacks and varied fruit **Never Stop Learning** * We encourage hands-on learning * We promote professional development through internal mobility and teamwork **Find Your Balance** * 23 vacation days + December 24 and 31 * Flexible working hours **Financial Health… and Flexible Compensation** * Childcare * Meal vouchers * Transportation * Training **Values** We hold five core beliefs that guide how PLD Space is shaping the future of space launch technologies: * Teamwork * Effort * Dynamism * Commitment * Make It Easy Join us to reinvent how rockets are built!
