Innovative approach and willingness to improve processes **What you’ll do:** ------------------- We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our EHS team and actively drive continuous improvement of safety, environmental protection, and fire prevention standards at our facility. Familiarity with Polish legal regulations concerning environmental protection (EHS) and fire prevention (FP), as well as ISO 14001/45001 management systems, is essential. Independence, conscientiousness, and diligence in preparing data, documentation, and reports—both under Polish law and corporate requirements—are also critical. An innovative mindset and willingness to streamline processes are welcomed and supported. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Representing the company regarding FP/EHS matters before administrative authorities, supervisory bodies, and certification bodies. * Conducting workplace condition inspections and verifying compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS), environmental protection (EHS), and fire prevention (FP) regulations and guidelines. * Delivering FP/EHS training programs. * Overseeing proper implementation of requirements of the Integrated Management System * per ISO 14001 and 45001, as well as the corporate OHS/EHS system (MESH). * Proactively pursuing continual hazard reduction and workplace condition improvements. * Acquiring, verifying, and updating environmental protection decisions/permits/notices. * Monitoring and supervising external contractors’ activities. * Supervising and performing routine technical inspections of fire protection installations. * Preparing official environmental protection reports required by applicable regulations. **Qualifications:** ------------------- * Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in OHS/EHS). **Skills:** ----------- * Fire Prevention Inspector qualifications and relevant professional experience. * Solid, practical knowledge of applicable OHS legal regulations and standards (ISO 14001 / 45001\). * Proficiency in English enabling fluent communication. * Ability to set and achieve goals. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Independence, accuracy, conscientiousness, and attention to detail. Preferred: * Ability to read technical drawings. * Proficiency in AutoCAD.
