Who are we looking for? We seek professionals who must hold a university degree, preferably in Law, Business Administration and Management (ADE), or a related field. We seek professionals with at least one year of prior experience in a similar role. The selected candidate must demonstrate strong customer orientation, planning and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Having a Disability Certificate indicating a disability level of 33% or higher will be considered an advantage. What will you do? The Claims Handler for Private Miscellaneous Claims carries out activities related to processing private miscellaneous claims, in accordance with departmental regulations, to ensure high-quality service delivery to customers. Some of the more specific responsibilities of the Claims Handler for Private Miscellaneous Claims in A Coruña: Open and review assigned claims files to request necessary documentation for acceptance/rejection, based on contracted coverage terms. Establish and revise financial reserves for claims files to accurately reflect actual claim costs. Respond to calls and visits from insurance intermediaries and policyholders, providing updates on claim status while ensuring high-quality service. Carry out all claims-handling tasks up to final settlement, in compliance with procedures established by management. Perform payment settlements and corresponding reviews to ensure proper file closure. Archive documentation—either physically or electronically—within the relevant files.
