




We need to hire a cook for a school located in Barcelona. Responsibilities include creating and cooking school menus, managing allergies and intolerances, and overseeing all kitchen-related tasks and meal service for a school cafeteria serving approximately 300 meals daily. Candidates must have experience working in collective catering settings and be versatile individuals capable of managing the kitchen independently and collaborating effectively within a team. The ideal candidate is responsible, motivating, and engaging, with the ability to work comfortably with both children and adults. Menu planning, placing orders, organizing refrigerator and pantry storage, cooking daily for approximately 300 people. Assisting in organizing and cleaning all areas related to meal preparation. Participating in special events throughout the academic year. Collaborating with school staff to enhance students’ overall experience at the center. * Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; prior organizational responsibility in a kitchen setting required. * Professional Specialization Qualification * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: intermediate) * Permanent employment contract * Part-time position (30 hours per week) * Gross monthly salary: €1500 * Additional information: Fixed-term discontinuous contract
