Job Summary: We are seeking an Accountant to manage daily accounting, treasury, financial reporting, and support tax management and audits at a growing hotel. Key Highlights: 1. Catalonia Hotels & Resorts is a rapidly expanding multinational hotel chain present in over 20 destinations and offering a wide range of properties. We are looking to hire an Accountant for our CATALONIA DONOSTI hotel. The main responsibilities will be as follows: * Management and control of daily accounting: recording income and expenses, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. * Preparation and monitoring of monthly budgets and forecasts, support during month-end closing, and analysis of variances. * Treasury management: control of collections and payments, liquidity forecasting, and liaison with banking institutions. * Preparation and review of periodic financial reports for management and for various hotel properties. * Collaboration in tax management: preparation of indirect taxes and support in preparing direct taxes with external advisors. * Control of customer and supplier accounts, resolution of discrepancies, and follow-up on overdue payments. * Support for internal and external audits by providing required documentation and contributing to the implementation of improvements in internal controls. * Participation in process improvement projects and in the implementation of accounting/ERP tools. REQUIREMENTS * Degree in Business Administration or related field. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably within the hotel or tourism sector. * Proficiency in office software, especially Excel. Experience with SAP or other ERPs is valued. * Analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills. * Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other departments. * Intermediate English; additional languages are valued.
