Country Spain Province Lugo - Lugo Application Deadline 12/03/2026 Category Direct Care, Cooperation / Emergency / Humanitarian Aid **NGO Information** Diaconia **Rating** (1 rating) **info** Response Rate: 50.24% **info** **Objective** ------------ **Job Mission:** Promote the comprehensive development of the individuals we work with, primarily focusing on the educational plan and the design of socio-labor itineraries, facilitating access to educational, social, and cultural opportunities to improve individuals’ quality of life. **Main Job Responsibilities:** * Preparation and reception of program beneficiaries at the facility * Support and/or accompany beneficiaries in appropriately managing their daily routines and various procedures (medical, administrative, shopping, etc.) to enhance their learning and level of autonomy. * Collaboratively develop beneficiaries’ objectives and needs analysis through the design and continuous monitoring of itineraries. * Manage the delivery of program-appropriate assistance by analyzing each individual’s socioeconomic situation and maintaining project budgetary registration and control. * Mediate conflict situations and manage activities, assemblies, and workshops that foster learning in conflict resolution and improvement of coexistence. * Establish local networks and coordination mechanisms to facilitate the real integration of beneficiaries, involving them in available resources and strengthening their community participation. * Prepare socio-educational reports and any other documents required for proper program management. * Support logistical program management and appropriate justification of final reports. * Ensure proper program implementation, as well as adequate maintenance and hygiene of the facility. * Support preparation for transition to the autonomy phase, coordinated with the Social Work department. * Team meetings for effective activity implementation: coordination for itinerary monitoring and interventions required across different cross-cutting areas, supported by OC supervision. * Support and follow-up in housing search. * Serve as the designated contact person for home visits. * Design, schedule, and conduct group workshops to acquire personal and social skills, and new learnings contextualized within the host society. * Identify and refer to external resources. * Advise, accompany, and monitor beneficiaries in opening bank accounts. * Handle emergencies via telephone on-call duties. * Carry out tasks assigned by local coordination. * Record interventions and documentation in designated tools. * Perform other duties assigned according to device needs. **Profile:** Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Social Education.
