




Summary: Spora is seeking environmental educators to inform and raise awareness among citizens about Girona’s new waste collection service, promoting the circular economy and sustainability. At Spora, we are seeking two individuals to fill the role of environmental educator as part of the campaign for Girona city’s new waste collection service—specifically, one educator for the morning shift and one for the afternoon shift. • Inform and raise awareness among citizens on-site about how the new selective waste collection model works, using smart bins. • Handle inquiries, resolve doubts, and provide support to users. • Staff and animate on-street information points intended for citizens. • Opportunity to support communication and outreach activities (talks, information points, educational activities, etc.). • Prepare monitoring reports on the information campaign. • Identify incidents and report them to the corresponding technical team. * Minimum 3 months’ experience; over 1 year’s experience in environmental education and/or waste management. * Environmental field background (environmental sciences, geography, environmental engineering, etc.). * Catalan (spoken and written: advanced level). * Competencies / knowledge: • Dynamism and attitude to face new challenges • Organizational capacity and ability to work in a dynamic environment • Teamwork skills • Strong communication skills and excellent public interaction • In-depth knowledge of waste separation and management models • Responsible and committed • Highly proactive and initiative-driven • Planning and organizational capacity. * Driving license: B. * Temporary employment contract (2 months). * Part-time (24 hours per week). * Gross monthly salary: 900. * Other relevant details: SALARY: €18,000 gross annual salary in 12 monthly installments for full-time work—proportionally adjusted according to actual hours worked. START DATE: 02/03/2025. END DATE: 24/04/2026. — Part-time: 24 hours per week. — Schedule: 4 hours/day, Monday to Saturday. Morning shift: Monday to Saturday, 08:00–12:00. Afternoon shift: Monday to Saturday, 16:00–20:00.
