Summary: The Product Manager is responsible for the overall success of their categories, overseeing product planning, pricing strategies, lifecycle management, and new product launches. We are currently looking for a: **Product Manager \- REF** **POSITION SUMMARY** The Product Manager is the responsible for the overall success of its categories in terms of revenue, volume and profit, in charge of product planning \& line\-up positioning, pricing strategies, product lifecycle and new product launches readiness, as well as purchases and healthy inventory levels, among others. **MAIN DUTIES \& RESPONSABILITIES** Ÿ Be the segment expert and knowledge source of industry trends, regulatory issues, competition moves, pricing and other marketing intelligence/analysis; analyze and share consumer and buyer insights and market requirements. Ÿ Achieve targeted revenues (price and quantity) and Net Profit and maintain healthy inventory levels. Ÿ Assist in the development of the business plan for the category; execute specific category strategies and plans. Ÿ Coordinate product planning across the matrix with product divisions and functional teams; identifies opportunities for potential new product development, develop local lineup logic, product positioning, and price strategies. Ÿ Support Key Account Management and Sales in product sell\-in, assist in developing channel and flooring strategy for new product launches; prepare for product line reviews. Ÿ Manage the new product launch process; drives the brief for marketing communications and retail/distributor activation; ensure readiness to launch for all supporting assets, including digital; prepare product material to support field marketing/training teams. Ÿ Manage product lifecycle by driving sell\-out, reviewing PSI forecasts and purchases, activating special promotions, and managing end\-of\-life/transition. Ÿ Coordinate with HQ the necessary technical requirements for the corresponding market. Ÿ Other duties as assigned. **Education/ Training/ Experience** * 2\-3 years of working experience in product management related fields. * Home Appliances industry experience is desired. **Degree and Language** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing or Business is required. * Strong verbal and communication skills, proficiency in English is required. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** * Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office. * Strong leadership and “team player” skills. * Data analysis capability is required. * Work under pressure and results driven. **What We Offer** * Enhanced benefits package in accordance with local labor law * Grocery vouchers * Major Medical Insurance **Why Midea?** Because we are a global company with a regional mindset.
