If you would like to know more about us, this is our website: Basquevolt **Do you want to participate in our project to scale up solid-state lithium battery production?** **Main responsibilities** The **Chemical Operator** is responsible for carrying out the necessary procedures and techniques to manufacture a solid-state battery on our first prototype line, following the guidelines of our Process and Production Engineering team. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineer, the responsibilities include: * Assist process engineering with FAT and SAT of our manufacturing equipment. * Work in a dry room environment, manufacturing sample cells A, B, and C to a high quality standard. * Assist in DOE activities and cell disassembly, collaborate with engineering and the R\+D team to collect data for life cycle and test validation. * Preventive maintenance, recovery, and improvement of our R\+D production facilities. * Support logistical control of incoming parts and outgoing products with FIFO priority. * Support the team in achieving daily production targets and objectives, focusing on meeting the sample schedule as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Help create standard operating procedures and checklists for specific sampling phases. * Support all documentation creation requests during specific sample phases. * Help establish a robust APQP system for future customer collaboration. * Champion safety initiatives and support management in maintaining and improving our safe working environment. **What we offer?** * **Contract type:** Temporary contract with possibility of becoming indefinite, offering the opportunity to work alongside experts in the European lithium battery industry. * **Working hours and holidays:** 28 days of vacation, reduced working hours in summer, currently working in a single shift. * **International environment:** Diverse team of young professionals from over 17 nationalities, fostering a positive multicultural atmosphere. * **Supported onboarding:** From day one, we will guide you through everything related to the company, ensuring a smooth integration. * **Health and wellbeing:** Enjoy company-paid life insurance and additional medical benefits. * **Training programs:** We encourage our employees to continue learning. The Chemical Operator must have experience in manufacturing and standard chemical operations within the environment of a high-tech industrial facility. Desirable qualifications: * 2 years of experience in battery manufacturing processes: Electrode, Cell Assembly, Formation, Module, Pack. * Previous experience in production lines working for automotive OEMs or other industries will be valued. * Experience in dry or clean rooms, ideally ISO7 class 10\.000\. * Previous experience in fault diagnosis and investigation techniques. * Experience in stacking facilities will be valued. * Intermediate level of English.
