More specifically, in our Rail Services business, we are dedicated to the warranty and maintenance of railway vehicles. **What will be your mission at the company?** You will join the after-sales engineering department to manage the repair of accident-damaged train units. This management involves: * Assessing the extent of damage. * Preparing the repair quotation. * Coordinating the design of the repair solution. * Supervising the validation of the solution through FEM (finite element method) calculations. * Coordinating the necessary logistics to obtain required repair materials. * Producing repair instructions and reports. * Keeping the database updated with information on completed repairs. Although you won't necessarily carry out each individual task yourself, you must have the knowledge and ability to supervise and coordinate repair phases across different projects together with local managers, as well as prepare reports on completed repairs. Other responsibilities: * Conduct damage assessments, propose the best solution, execute it and validate it. * Prepare damage assessment reports, defining beforehand the dimensional measurements and tolerances that need to be monitored. * Supervise damage extent evaluation using non-destructive testing methods (NDT), primarily liquid penetrants. * Analyze the validity of proposed repair solutions using FEM calculations. * Prepare repair quotations for accident damages. * Supervise the preparation of welding procedure sheets. * Create repair instructions. * Supervise and coordinate repair activities. **What will make you succeed in this role?** * A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design due to the high technical content of the position and product. * Advanced level of English; knowledge of German and/or French will be valued, as you will have continuous contact with internal and external foreign clients via video calls, emails, and in-person visits. And not forgetting our roots—Basque language skills, which you can use in your daily work. * Experience in structural design and validation. * Experience in FEM calculations, 3D design, etc., will be valued.
