Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to assume technical responsibility for I&C systems in complex industrial projects. Key Points: 1. Indefinite contract with potential transition to the client's permanent staff Through our engineering firm P\&PD (ATS Global), we are selecting a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to work for one of our clients, a major industrial engineering company based in León. The project requiring participation is located in Avilés, Asturias, and will last approximately 1 year. After 125 months, there is potential to transition to the client's permanent staff. The selected candidate will assume technical responsibility for I\&C systems in complex industrial projects, from engineering through commissioning. To achieve this, the following responsibilities will be carried out: * Definition and coordination of instrumentation and control systems (DCS / SCADA / PLC). * Selection of instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, level measurement) and control valves. * Preparation and review of P\&IDs, I/O lists, and technical documentation. * Integration of industrial networks and communications. * Supervision of field installation, FAT/SAT, and commissioning. * Technical liaison with suppliers, engineering firms, and operations teams. Offered: * Indefinite contract through our engineering firm, P\&PD. * Qualification: Degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 10 years’ experience in industrial instrumentation and control. * Experience in complex industrial environments (energy, process, glass, chemical, EPC, etc.). * Solid knowledge of DCS/SCADA/PLC and process instrumentation. * Languages: Advanced English proficiency
