Does it excite you to contribute to improving people’s quality of life and transforming society toward greater inclusion? **Then, we are looking for you!** We seek a person to fill the **General Director** position to lead and coordinate all areas of the association, represent the organization before institutions and social agents, and ensure its purpose—improving the lives of people and their families—is fulfilled with quality, proximity, and forward-looking vision. **WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE?** Reporting to the Board of Directors and working alongside the Management Council, the hired person will lead the association’s strategic plan. * **Lead strategy** together with the Board of Directors, driving the strategic plan and the annual management plan jointly with the Management Council. * **Ensure the overall functioning of the association**, coordinating all areas and key processes, including relations with the Board of Directors and staff committees. * **Represent the organization before public administrations** (Basque Government, Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, municipal councils, etc.) and other key organizations in the sector and region. * **Foster collaboration with other entities**, promoting strategic alliances. * **Develop, mentor, and lead the team**, ensuring an inclusive, participatory work environment grounded in the association’s values. * **Publicly promote the association**, reinforcing its identity and social impact. * **Ensure legal and ethical compliance**, guaranteeing transparency, equality, and quality across all processes. ### **MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS** THIS IS WHAT WE VALUE: * **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Law, or equivalent. * **Experience**: Minimum 5 years in directorial or leadership positions. * **Technical knowledge**: * Knowledge and ability to manage projects, negotiate agreements, and establish strategic alliances. * Skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders: families, service users, institutions, society, etc. * Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects. * **Management of services and care centers**: portfolio design, process standardization, manuals/protocols, staffing ratios, licenses, and inspections. * **Public funding and contracting**: calls for proposals, grants, and service agreements; **technical and financial preparation and justification**; basic understanding of public procurement. * **Languages**: Basque language is mandatory. * Driving license.
