




Job Summary: Support the implementation and supervision of safety, health, and environmental management systems, including personnel training and risk and regulatory compliance management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage safety, health, and environmental aspects in exploration activities. 2. Ensure compliance with environmental legal requirements and manage permits. 3. Support risk management and personnel training. ### **Responsibilities:** * Support the Exploration Leadership Team in implementing, managing, and supervising the Safety and Health Management System and the Environmental Management Plan. * Train Exploration personnel on system management requirements, values, expectations, and behaviors related to Safety, Health, and Environment. * Support Leaders and Managers in risk management by facilitating internal workshops and training both internal and contractor personnel on risk management processes and procedures. * Evaluate, monitor, and ensure contractor performance regarding environmental, safety, health, and wellness matters, guaranteeing compliance with the Management System and Plan. * Conduct field visits to verify compliance and manage deviations related to safety, health, and environment in Exploration activities. * Maintain up-to-date environmental legal requirements and ensure their compliance, including emerging trends (climate change, circular economy, sustainability). * Manage and maintain necessary environmental permits for Exploration activities, ensuring compliance and preparing reports for authorities when required. * Develop, implement, maintain, and update environmental and safety documentation (plans, programs, procedures, reports, and records). ### **Requirements:** * English level B2 and Spanish level C1. * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences (preferred). * Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention covering all three specialties: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles within mining, industrial companies, external prevention services, or consulting firms, especially in risk assessments and environmental management. * Proficiency in Office 365, safety platforms (Sphera, Docucae, INXCONTROL, Velocity EHS…), and GIS tools. * In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation (Law 31/1995 and related regulations) and basic understanding of Mining Safety regulations (General Regulation, ITCs, Miners’ Statute, ITC/2585/2007, ITC/101/2006…). * Knowledge of environmental legislation, environmental management systems, soil contamination, and basic concepts of flora and fauna.
