We are seeking a **Metrologist** with experience in **Plastic Injection for the Automotive sector in Palencia.** **Responsibilities** * Perform dimensional and geometric verification of large-sized injection-molded parts using advanced metrology equipment. * Validate first-off parts, short production runs, and mold changes prior to full-scale production launch. * Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and other metrological inspection equipment. * Analyze dimensional deviations and prepare technical compliance and non-compliance reports. * Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Process teams to resolve dimensional issues. * Define inspection methods and measurement plans according to customer specifications and technical drawings. * Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment. * Participate in capability and repeatability studies (MSA, R&R). * Document results and ensure measurement traceability. **Requirements** * Technical education in Metrology, Mechanical Manufacturing, Industrial Quality, or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in metrology roles within industrial environments, preferably in plastic injection. * Solid knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation, geometric and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T). * Experience measuring large technical parts. * Proficiency in operating CMMs and metrology software. * Technical rigor, attention to detail, and autonomy in work. **Languages** * English: basic–intermediate technical level for documentation interpretation—valued. **Workplace** * Palencia. 100% on-site. **Offer** * Permanent contract and competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Advanced technical environment equipped with large-format machinery. * Initial outsourcing project with subsequent direct employment. * Direct involvement in critical product validations. * Professional development within the Quality and Metrology area.
