We are seeking a person to fill the position of General Manager to lead and coordinate all areas of the association, represent the organization before institutions and social agents, and ensure its purpose—improving the lives of people and their families—is fulfilled with quality, closeness, and a forward-looking vision. WHAT WILL YOUR DAY TO DAY BE LIKE? Reporting to the Board of Directors and working alongside the Management Council, the hired candidate will lead the association’s strategic plan. * Lead strategy development together with the Board of Directors, driving the strategic plan and annual management plan with the Management Council. * Ensure the overall functioning of the association by coordinating all key areas and processes, including relations with the Board of Directors and employee committees. * Represent the organization before public administrations (Basque Government, Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, municipalities, etc.) and other key organizations within the sector and region. * Promote collaboration with other entities by fostering strategic alliances. * Develop, support, and lead the team, ensuring an inclusive, participatory work environment rooted in the association’s values. * Publicly promote the association, reinforcing its identity and social impact. * Ensure legal and ethical compliance, guaranteeing transparency, equality, and quality in all processes. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS **WHAT WE VALUE:** * Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related fields. * Experience: Minimum of 5 years in management or leadership roles. * Technical knowledge: * Knowledge and ability to manage projects, negotiate agreements, and build strategic alliances. * Skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders: families, service users, institutions, society, etc. * Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects. * Management of care services and centers: service portfolio design, process standardization, manuals/protocols, staffing ratios, licenses, and inspections. * Public funding and contracting: calls for proposals, grants and agreements; technical and financial preparation and reporting; understanding of public procurement. * Languages: Fluency in Basque is essential. * Driver's license. Personal vehicle required.
