Assistant Physician (Oviedo)

DESCRIPTION We are seeking to fill a temporary vacancy for an Assistant Physician at our Ibermutua center in Oviedo. WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BE LIKE? YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform urgent clinical activities (anamnesis, physical examination, diagnosis, therapeutic plan) for workers attending the center or corresponding service, as well as assess functional capacity for work activity in accordance with established procedures and protocols. * Conduct periodic clinical controls and follow-ups for workers requiring successive scheduled consultations until full functional recovery. * Assess and process patient transfer requests for authorization submitted by external medical centers not affiliated with the Mutual. * Maintain and ensure proper functioning, custody, and management of assigned clinical equipment, materials, supplies, and facilities. * Actively comply with all quality-assurance and patient safety standards, as well as appropriate management of waste generated during clinical activity. * Assess and monitor common-contingency sick leave processes within your area of responsibility, aligned with the Medical Directorate’s objectives. * Identify and report potential risks. * Implement actions corresponding to strategic programs launched by the organization at any given time. * Prepare necessary medical reports to support healthcare management (e.g., discharge proposals, permanent disability assessments, etc.). * Inform and promote among contacted patients awareness of and use of Ibermutua Digital Personas as a bidirectional interaction tool between the Mutual and the patient. * Request complementary diagnostic tests or specialist interconsultations whenever deemed appropriate to expedite patient recovery. WORK SCHEDULE AND HOURS: Rotating morning and afternoon shifts to meet the needs arising across centers in the Autonomous Community. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine. * Residence in Oviedo or surrounding areas. * Availability for flexible working hours and travel to other centers within the Autonomous Community. Preferred Qualifications: * Medical specialization (particularly in urgent or general care). * Accreditation as Director of Radiodiagnostic Facilities. * Experience in emergency departments or continuous-care services. * Specialized training in Bodily Injury Assessment. * Prior experience in mutuals or occupational contingency pathology. * Possession of a disability certificate (equal to or greater than 33%) will be considered favorably
