The selected candidate will work alongside Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business teams to transform data into useful, visual, actionable, and easily understandable information. The main objective of this role is to build and maintain reports, dashboards, and semantic models that help business areas make better decisions. The Data Analyst Power BI Role - Understand business needs and translate them into clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI. - Design, develop, and maintain business-oriented dashboards, especially in the hospitality domain: sales, occupancy, revenue, reservations, customers, channels, campaigns, operations, and profitability. - Create and maintain semantic models in Power BI, ensuring a robust, reusable, and user-friendly data structure. - Define metrics, KPIs, and business rules together with functional teams. - Work with data from various corporate systems, ensuring consistency, quality, and traceability. - Develop measures in DAX and transform data using Power Query when necessary. - Build clear, useful, and well-designed visualizations tailored to each user’s profile. - Assist business teams in interpreting data and extracting actionable insights. - Participate in the evolution of the company’s analytical layer by proposing improvements to models, reports, and reporting processes. Minimum Requirements - Experience working as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role, for at least one year. - Solid knowledge of Power BI. - Experience creating semantic models, table relationships, measures, and KPIs. - Knowledge of DAX. - Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. - Ability to understand business needs and convert them into analytical solutions. - Visual acumen to create clear, organized, and decision-oriented reports. - Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. We Also Value - Prior experience in the hospitality, tourism, retail, revenue management, or highly commercial environments. - Knowledge of hospitality metrics. - Experience working with corporate data models or shared semantic layers. - Knowledge of Azure, Fabric, Synapse, or cloud environments. - Ability to detect data inconsistencies and propose improvements to data quality.
