Job Summary: We are seeking an Electromechanical Design Engineer for industrial project development, performing the full lifecycle of electromechanical systems and equipment and collaborating in project definition. For new projects in the industrial sector, we require an Electromechanical Design Engineer for a major company located in Galdakao (Bizkaia). Reporting to the Project Director, your main responsibilities will be: **Responsibilities:** * Perform the complete lifecycle development of electromechanical systems and equipment (design, development, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, and implementation) * Design electromechanical systems and components meeting project needs and requirements * Identify, formulate, and propose effective solutions to technical problems arising during development * Evaluate safety, reliability, and overall performance of final products * Modify and optimize designs to meet technical requirements and correct deviations or failures * Collaborate in defining project budget and scope * Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and product reports * Support commissioning of electromechanical installations when required **Requirements:** * Technical Engineer or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field * Minimum 2 years’ experience in electromechanical design * Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks * Basic knowledge of AutoCAD * Availability for occasional international travel * Project management experience will be valued * Experience in commissioning electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems will be valued **Languages:** * B2 English level mandatory **Competencies:** * Teamwork, problem-solving, planning, and continuous improvement orientation * Autonomy and ability to provide technical leadership in projects
